Nassau’s North Shore high schools send off Class of 2026

Thousands of high school seniors have thrown their graduation caps into the air with ceremonies across Nassau County commemorating the students’ success throughout their time in school. Recent graduations in the Oyster Bay-East Norwich, Glen Cove, North Shore and Locust Valley School Districts sent hundreds of high school graduates on their way.
The Oyster Bay High School graduation ceremony took place on Saturday, June 27, in the high school’s gymnasium, due to the rainy conditions. The stands were filled with family and friends as the graduates celebrated the end of their high school journey.
The Glen Cove High School Class of 2026 graduation ceremony was held on Friday, June 26, on the high school field, where hundreds of students celebrated the end of their time in the school district.
On Friday, June 26, the North Shore High School seniors donned their caps and gowns for the 2026 Commencement Ceremony. Parents, families, the district’s Board of Education, and administrators gathered in the gymnasium at North Shore High School to say goodbye to the Class of 2026 as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys.
On the evening of Thursday, June 25, years of hard work culminated with a graduation ceremony for the Locust Valley High School Class of 2026. The 125 graduates strode across the stage at the school’s Fred Smith Field, celebrating their academic accomplishments with their classmates, friends, family and teachers.
