Long Island shoppers have plenty of new options to explore this year, with at least six new supermarkets set to open across Nassau and Suffolk Counties throughout 2026.

- Whole Foods Market — A 40,000-square-foot store at The Shops at SunVet in Holbrook (5801 Sunrise Hwy), bringing natural and organic options to Suffolk County
- Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace — The beloved Italian specialty grocer is expanding to Greenvale and later to Levittown
- Trader Joe's — Miller Place location in the works for Suffolk County shoppers
- Plus additional grocery store openings throughout both counties
