The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce (LIAACC) is celebrating a record year of membership growth in Suffolk County, with over 150 new businesses joining the organization under Suffolk County Director Jordan Isaac's leadership.

The chamber, which supports Black-owned businesses across Long Island, has seen its Suffolk membership nearly double since Isaac took on the director role in 2024. The growth reflects both increased interest in chamber resources and Isaac's aggressive outreach program.

"We're not just growing numbers — we're building a community of entrepreneurs who support each other. That's the real win." — Jordan Isaac, Suffolk County Director

New member services include monthly business networking events, access to procurement opportunities with local government, and mentorship programs pairing established business owners with startups. The chamber has also launched a small business loan program in partnership with local credit unions.

LIAACC President Phil Andrews credited Isaac's grassroots approach: "Jordan goes to where the businesses are. He's at community events, faith centers, everywhere. That personal touch makes all the difference."

The chamber will host its annual awards gala in April, recognizing outstanding businesses and community contributors across Long Island.
